Round robin
Youth is split into Junior Youth and Senior Youth divisions. Open to all ranks.
Shinpan-chō (審判長) — Shozo Kato Sensei, 8 Dan Kyoshi (Head Instructor, Shidogakuin; New York)
There is a lunch break during the taikai (boxed lunch available — see Registration). The taikai will be followed by a post-taikai banquet in the evening.

Champion Flag
First place team receives a travelling flag. Each year’s winning team adds their tag, passing the flag on to the next champion.
