Chicago has played a pivotal role in the development and growth of kendo within the United States. Go Ryu Ki is a celebration of that history — bringing the national kendo community together and sharing the city with visiting kenshi.
Calligraphy
The Go Ryu Ki calligraphy was created by Masami Yoshida in a vigorous and dynamic style that gives full expression to the characters Go 剛 (“strong and unyielding”) and Ryu 龍 (“dragon”). We are grateful for her generous contribution to Go Ryu Ki.
